TERMS & cONDITIONS

Thank you for booking your Corporate Event with Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness (SUSF). Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email outlining all the details such as date, time, location, package choice and cost. Changes to this information, may result in SUSF’s re-estimating the package costs as required. By booking your Corporate Event, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions below.

 

Payments and Bookings
 

A 50% non-refundable deposit must be made in full at the time of booking in order to secure your Corporate Event. A receipt confirming the booking will be sent after the payment has been confirmed.

  1. A transaction fee may apply to all phone and online bookings.

  2. SUSF does not accept responsibility for any items lost or stolen in and around the Corporate Event venue, this includes items placed in bags or lockers.

Final numbers must be confirmed and the balance paid 21 working days prior to the date of your Corporate Event.

 

Refunds and Cancellations
 

SUSF will accept cancellations in limited circumstances, as its absolute discretion, as follows:

  • 21 working days or less prior to your Corporate Event: 100% of the fee; or

  • 21 working days or more prior to your Corporate Event: 50% of the fee plus 100% of any associated event costs such as venue hire, catering, speakers, instructors, consumables etc. where SUSF is liable to suppliers.

 

SUSF may allow ONE date change ONLY. This new date must be within 3 months of your original date for your Corporate Event, is strictly subject to availability and is at the absolute discretion of SUSF. The following additional charges apply:

  • 21 working days or less prior to your Corporate Event date: a fee of 10% of package price, plus 100% of any associated event costs where SUSF is liable to suppliers for date changes; or

  • 22-60 working days prior to your Corporate Event: no fee, but 100% of any associated event costs where SUSF is liable to suppliers for date changes.

 

Release
 

In booking a Corporate Event, you agree that SUSF is not responsible for any injury or loss caused by or to a person whether bodily or to property arising from the activities of SUSF, its servants, agents or employees or from nay person’s alleged or actual acts, omissions, negligence or other event. By attending, each person accepts that when participating in a Corporate Event they do so on the voluntary assumption of risk on their own behalf. Participants are encouraged to make SUSF aware of any ailments or injuries they have prior to beginning the course that may impact on their ability to participate in the course.

 

Event Liability and Related Insurance
 

SUSF Public Liability Insurance up to $20 million. This insurance does not cover any incident involving a car, truck or any other registered vehicle that is used during/ for an event. SUSF’s Public Liability Insurances does not cover transport of the participants to and from the event location.

 

Privacy Statement
 

SUSF and its related or affiliated entities (including all affiliated clubs and programs) may collect personal information and health information from you in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and other applicable privacy laws.

SUSF may collect personal information about you including CCTV footage and photographs. By signing these terms and conditions, you consent to SUSF:

  1. Collecting health information about you, including and medical, behavioural or additional needs or allergies that you have; and

  2. Using your personal information in order to contact you about our brands, products, services, special offers, promotions, newsletters, online surveys, fundraising campaigns, alumni events, news and competitions.

 

SUSF collects and uses personal and health information about you in order to:

  • Provide you with services, operate our facilities and clubs, run our business and operations and fulfil our obligations;

  • Communicate and manage our relationships with you;

  • Maintain and update our records; conduct marketing activities;

  • Carry out market data analysis, prevent or detect fraud or abuses, enable third parties to carry out functions on our behalf;

  • Maintain and develop our business systems;

  • Assess you readiness for physical activity/exercise, ability to participate in programs, general welfare and to provide you with medical treatments as required.

We may also use photographs of you for publicity and advertising purposes.

 

SUSF may disclose personal information about you to:

  • Related entities and affiliates of SUSF (including clubs);

  • IT system administrators;

  • Medical and health providers who provide services to SUSF members or users of SUSF’s services or facilities;

  • Third party service providers and credit reference agencies or debt collection agencies if you default on payments due to or obtain payment from you.

SUSF is not likely to disclose any personal and health information about you to overseas recipients.

 

You are able to request access to personal and health information held by SUSF about you and seek correction of such information. Please refer to the SUSF Privacy Policy on the SUSF website for information on how to do this. You can also refer to the Privacy Policy for information on how to complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles by SUSF and how SUSF will deal with such a complaint.

 

If SUSF is not able to collect the personal and health information set out above, we may not be able to process your enrolment ford, allow you to participate in Corporate Event courses, deal with your enquiries or engage in the activities listed above.

Event Due Care
 

SUSF provides a wide range of equipment and resources for participant’s use during the delivery of our Corporate Events. In the event of damage other than fair wear, or loss of equipment through participant miss-use or neglect, you accept responsibility on behalf of your employees and your entire party and will be liable for all associated costs for the repair or replacement of such equipment and resources.

 

Event Content
 

By accepting these terms and conditions you grant SUSF an exclusive, royalty free, perpetual license to publish photos, video, and content from your event for marketing purposes.

 

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
 

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in the State of NSW and each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
